• *Brew HaHa! in Newark. A Best of Delaware winner for Best Upstate Coffee Shop. With University of Delaware students away for the summer, it is a quiet spot to relax or catch up on work over a favorite drink.

What are some great local eats in Bear, DE? 

You can’t get better food than from your neighbors who serve it up with a smile. 

• *Surf Bagel in Middletown. Voted the best bagels in Delaware, and you no longer have to head to the beach for them. Surf Bagel’s New Castle County location in Middletown serves scratch-made New York style bagels, sandwiches, and coffee.

Where can I get closer to nature near Bear, DE? 

There are plenty of lovely views and fun to be had when you drive out of the area.
