The Reybold Group proudly announces that CHILD, Inc, Delaware’s leading child and family advocacy group, has opened their new Safe Havens Family Visitation Center in Reybold Commercial’s Middletown Medical Center, providing Middletown and surrounding areas with essential family services. The building, completed early in 2018, is the second in the Middletown Medical Center and is home to other significant service providers including Nemours Dupont Pediatrics and Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance.

CHILD, Inc’s Executive Director Lori Sitler explained: “When we were searching for a location for our 3rd family visitation center, CHILD, Inc. focused on the Middletown area of southern New Castle County. With the area’s population growth, there is an increased need for the services of a visitation center. Our Middletown location is easily accessible from major roads and is on a DART bus line.”

CHILD, Inc. offers a wide variety of services that improve the lives of Delaware’s at-risk families. Services include:

  • Parenting education classes
  • Counseling services
  • A shelter for abused, neglected and dependent children
  • Specialized foster care
  • Comprehensive services for victims of domestic violence
  • Family visitation centers
  • Court-based advocacy

“The new Safe Havens Family Visitation Center offers services free of charge to families,” Sitler said.  “By eliminating the barrier of fees, we are able to provide assistance to more families, protecting victims and holding those responsible for acts of domestic violence accountable.  Our goal is to help children heal and families succeed.”
